Summary (What is the plot?)

It is the era of adventure, as countless souls are lured along the Grand Line in pursuit of dreams far greater than any they’ve ever dared to imagine. Wealth, fame, power—all available to the lucky soul who can find it: the legendary One Piece.

Monkey D. Luffy is a young man whose body gained rubber-like properties after eating a mysterious Devil Fruit. Determined to become King of the Pirates, he sets sail alone on a small boat to begin his journey.

But a pirate king needs a crew. Along the way, Luffy gathers a group of unlikely companions: Roronoa Zoro, a feared pirate hunter with a three-sword style; Nami, a beautiful thief with a talent for navigation; Usopp, a compulsive liar with dreams of becoming a brave warrior of the sea; and Sanji, a chivalrous chef with a deadly kick.

Together, they face impossible odds, legendary pirates, and the relentless Marines who hunt them. From the treacherous Captain Buggy the Clown to the cunning Kuro of the Black Cat Pirates, and finally to the powerful Don Krieg and the legendary Dracule Mihawk, Luffy and his crew discover that the greatest treasure isn’t gold or glory—it’s the family they’ve found along the way.
