About the Movie
The story takes place in the aftermath of World War II, when Aatami Korpi returns to the land where his family once lived.
A former Finnish soldier who has survived unimaginable violence, Aatami carries the emotional scars of losing his loved ones during the war.
Determined to preserve their memory, he returns to his family’s former home and begins dismantling the wooden structure piece by piece.
His plan is simple: transport the house to a safer location and rebuild it as a lasting tribute to the people he lost.
However, his peaceful mission takes a terrifying turn when Yeagor Dragunov, a ruthless Red Army commander responsible for his family’s murder, learns of his return.
Determined to eliminate Aatami once and for all, Dragunov launches a deadly pursuit across the countryside.
What begins as a personal journey of remembrance becomes an extraordinary fight for survival.
Outnumbered and relentlessly hunted, Aatami must use his experience, intelligence, determination, and extraordinary resilience to survive against heavily armed enemies.
As the pursuit intensifies, the confrontation develops into a series of increasingly dangerous encounters involving military vehicles, devastating weapons, and seemingly impossible escapes.
Despite overwhelming odds, Aatami refuses to surrender.
His determination transforms the journey into a brutal struggle between a man seeking peace and an enemy determined to destroy him.
With spectacular practical action, dark humor, and relentless pacing, Sisu: Road to Revenge expands the world of the original film while delivering another unforgettable story of survival and vengeance.
