Enjoy all five seasons of the classic Emmy-winning sitcom Taxi with the complete series collected in this 17-disc DVD box set.
Set at New York City’s fictional Sunshine Cab Company, the series follows a colourful group of taxi drivers as they deal with demanding passengers, difficult jobs, friendships, relationships, and their dreams of building better lives beyond the garage.
At the centre of the group is Alex Reiger, an experienced cab driver who often serves as the voice of reason among his eccentric co-workers. He is joined by aspiring actor Bobby Wheeler, boxer Tony Banta, art gallery receptionist Elaine Nardo, mechanic Latka Gravas, and the unforgettable Reverend Jim Ignatowski.
Watching over them is the abrasive and hilariously unpredictable dispatcher Louie De Palma, whose constant insults and schemes create some of the show’s most memorable moments.
Starring Judd Hirsch, Danny DeVito, Marilu Henner, Tony Danza, Andy Kaufman, Christopher Lloyd, Jeff Conaway, and Carol Kane, Taxi combines workplace comedy, friendship, romance, and character-driven humour.
This collection includes all 5 seasons and 114 episodes across 17 DVDs, bringing together the complete 1978–1983 series in one comprehensive box set.
