Step back into medieval England with Cadfael: The Complete Collection, featuring Series 1-4 collected in this 13-disc DVD box set.
Set in 12th-century England during a period of civil war and political unrest, the series follows Brother Cadfael, a former Crusader who has become a Benedictine monk at Shrewsbury Abbey.
Despite his peaceful religious life, Cadfael frequently finds himself investigating mysterious deaths, murders, disappearances and crimes involving the local community.
Using his remarkable powers of observation, knowledge of human nature and experience of the wider world, Cadfael works to uncover the truth, protect innocent people and bring criminals to justice.
Based on the bestselling historical mystery novels by Ellis Peters, the series combines medieval history, crime investigation, political intrigue and compelling detective storytelling.
Starring Derek Jacobi as Brother Cadfael, alongside Sean Pertwee, Julian Firth, Michael Culver and other familiar British actors, Cadfael offers an atmospheric journey into medieval England.
This collection includes all 4 series and 13 feature-length episodes, bringing together the complete television series in one comprehensive 13-disc DVD box set.
