Enter the magical world of Yuria in Golden Axe (2026), an animated fantasy action-comedy inspired by SEGA’s legendary 1989 arcade video game franchise.
The story follows three legendary warriors: Ax Battler, Tyris Flare and Gilius Thunderhead. When the evil giant Death Adder threatens their homeland once again, the unlikely heroes reunite for a dangerous quest to save Yuria.
Their mission becomes even more complicated when they are joined by Hampton Squib, an inexperienced adventurer whose enthusiasm for heroism far exceeds his actual abilities. Despite their differences, the group must learn to work together, face dangerous enemies and overcome unexpected challenges.
Featuring fantasy creatures, magical adventures, outrageous humor and exciting battles, Golden Axe brings the spirit of the classic SEGA game to a new animated series.
The voice cast includes Matthew Rhys as Gilius Thunderhead, Danny Pudi as Hampton Squib, Lisa Gilroy as Tyris Flare, Liam McIntyre as Ax Battler and Carl Tart as Chronos “Evil” Lait.
This collection includes all 10 episodes of Season 1 in a 2-Disc Blu-ray Box Set.
