Enter the dangerous world of undercover investigations, international drug trafficking, and organized crime with Legends Season 1 (2026) Blu-ray Box Set (2-Disc), a gripping British crime thriller inspired by extraordinary real-life events.
Created and written by Neil Forsyth, this six-episode crime drama follows an unlikely group of ordinary British customs officers recruited for an extremely dangerous undercover operation during the early 1990s.
Starring Tom Burke, Steve Coogan, Hayley Squires, Tom Hughes, and Aml Ameen, the series explores how ordinary government employees are transformed into undercover operatives and sent deep into Britain’s most dangerous criminal organizations.
Unlike conventional intelligence agents, these individuals have little experience with espionage. They must create entirely new identities, build relationships with dangerous criminals, and earn the trust of powerful drug traffickers without revealing their true identities.
As the operation expands across Britain and into international criminal networks, the team faces increasingly dangerous situations involving betrayal, violence, corruption, and personal sacrifice.
With realistic undercover investigations, complex characters, and suspenseful storytelling, Legends delivers an engaging look at one of the most extraordinary chapters in British criminal investigation history.
This two-disc Blu-ray edition is presented as a complete first-season collection featuring all six episodes.
About the Series
In the early 1990s, Britain’s customs authorities are struggling to control the growing flow of illegal drugs entering the country.
Traditional enforcement methods are proving insufficient against increasingly sophisticated criminal organizations operating across international borders.
In response, a secret government operation is established to infiltrate some of Britain’s most dangerous drug gangs from within.
A veteran customs investigator named Don is assigned to recruit an unconventional team of operatives.
Rather than selecting experienced intelligence officers, he chooses ordinary customs employees from different backgrounds and locations across the country.
Among them is Guy, a determined recruit whose new undercover identity will place him directly inside the criminal underworld.
Kate, Bailey, Carter, Erin, and other members of the team are also given new identities and sent into dangerous environments where even a small mistake could expose the entire operation.
Their training is limited, and their preparation cannot fully replicate the unpredictable reality of working alongside violent criminals.
To survive, they must learn to think like the people they are investigating, build believable criminal connections, and maintain convincing personal histories.
As Guy becomes increasingly involved in an international smuggling operation, the risks grow beyond anything the team initially anticipated.
Meanwhile, the Liverpool-based operatives conduct surveillance and investigate suspicious businesses that may be connected to a much larger criminal network.
As tensions rise within the gangs, the undercover agents must navigate competing loyalties, dangerous personalities, and growing paranoia.
The operation gradually becomes a high-stakes battle involving enormous quantities of illegal drugs and powerful criminal organizations.
With their real identities constantly at risk, the Legends must decide how far they are willing to go to complete their mission.
