The Lion King’s Timon & Pumbaa Season 1-2 (2-Disc) DVD
Return to the world of The Lion King with The Lion King’s Timon & Pumbaa, the animated television series starring the unforgettable duo of Timon and Pumbaa.
Set after the events of the original The Lion King, the series follows Timon the meerkat and Pumbaa the warthog as they continue their carefree adventures while following their famous Hakuna Matata philosophy.
Instead of remaining in one location, Timon and Pumbaa travel through a variety of environments and countries, encountering unusual characters, unexpected challenges and plenty of comic situations along the way.
Across Seasons 1-2, the pair find themselves involved in everything from wildlife adventures and travel mishaps to strange encounters and hilarious misunderstandings. Their very different personalities often lead to trouble, but their friendship remains at the centre of every adventure.
The series combines animated comedy, family-friendly adventure and colourful storytelling, making it an entertaining choice for younger viewers as well as longtime Disney fans who grew up with The Lion King.
The series originally ran from 1995 to 1998 and consists of three seasons in total. This product is listed as Season 1-2, so it should not be described as the complete series unless the actual product packaging confirms that all three seasons are included.
This 2-disc DVD collection brings together Seasons 1-2 of Timon and Pumbaa’s animated adventures and is a fun addition to a Disney, animation or family television collection.
