About the Series

Tacoma may receive plenty of rain, but that does not mean its firefighters have nothing to do.

Chief Terry McConky and Captain Eddie Penisi lead an eccentric team that includes Granny, Ike, Lucy and other memorable members of the Tacoma Fire Department.

When they are not responding to emergency calls, the firefighters spend their time competing against one another, creating elaborate pranks and getting involved in increasingly ridiculous situations.

The firehouse becomes the center of the series, where professional responsibilities constantly collide with the crew’s unusual sense of humor.

Seasons 1-4

The first season introduces the Tacoma FD crew and establishes the unusual atmosphere inside the station.

As the series continues, the firefighters face new emergencies, workplace rivalries, personal challenges and increasingly strange competitions.
